SciFi is playing Queen of the Damned ... the night that I was looking for my old tape of it... so I was like OMG SQUEEZ.
So then I pop in a tape to record it (in case I can't find my old one later)
AND THEN I WATCH.
AND I TALK TO BLAKERS.
THIS IS WHAT ENSUES.

Brooke: TEN SECONDS IN.

Brooke: THE EDITING IS ALREADY PISSING ME OFF.
Brooke: What little sense the movie made before is now GONE.
Blakers: ah.

Brooke: Insert pissation beyond belief.

Brooke: they just skipped ten minutes...at least.
Brooke: Him telling his story, him rising, killing his first victim, confronting the band

Brooke: There comes a time for every vampire when the idea of eternity becomes momentarily...unbearable. Lurking in the darkness, feeding in the darkness, with only your own company to keep, rots in a solitary, hollow existence. Immortality seems like a good idea...until you realize you are going to be spending it alone. So I went to sleep, hoping htat the sounds of the passing eras would fade out and a sort of ... death might happen. But as I lay there... the world didn't sound lik ethe place I had left ... but something different... *sexy accent* beter... It became worthwhile to rise again as new gods were born and worshipped. Night and day, they were never alone. I would become one of them
Brooke: Whether it was that first meal or a hundred years of rest, I'm not sure, but suddnely I was feeling better than ever. My senses so high they led me straight to the instrument of my resurrection, playing in my old house
Brooke: YOU KNOW, THAT BAND THAT FOR SOME REASON HE'S SUDDENLY A MEMEBER OF AT A PRESS CONFERENCE IN THE MOVIE
Blakers: hah
Blakers: actually, I have no clue.
Blakers: if it's not a vampire movie about this monster destroying people's lives..
Blakers: it's not one worth seeing
