So I got home about an hour ago from North Carolina Theatre Conference. It ruled. 6:30 AM to 11 PM yesterday, and 7AM - 3:30 PM today, we had to leave early because Amy had a family emergency, but other than that it was pretty fun. I kicked ass on my audition, the monologue for which I learned um......this morning. I got called to interviews by App, Guilford, Greensboro, Lees-McRae, Mereditch (icky all girl school) and UNC Charlotte. I spent about half an hour with the APP guys, who Amy and I had kept running into and getting to know pretty well over the weekend. They really want both of us to come to App, and we were talking about our choices, and both pretty much decided to do that. Go to App, and then to UNCG to get a grad degree.

Last night we went to the BIG DANCE PARTY1!!!! SIFNW311!!!SHIFT+1

It was pretty fun, because at the begining there was a big ass school group and um... us, so these two guys came over to our little area where we were weight-shifting dancing and pulled us over to the group, and we got to know all the people, and started dancing more, and one of the guys skanked with me, so that was cool...As it got more and more crowded, our gay-dars got fogged up and we couldn't tell anymore...We kept randomly switching guys that were dancing in our little... area within the group thing... and then three guys randomly came up and attacked us from behind and started uh... hump-dancing with us 0.0 That was a little weird. Then they ran away. Then the kids from one school started doing choreography, because they go to an arts school, and are in all their classes together, and had choreography to Don't Phunk With My Heart... then the gymnastics kids sarted flipping each other across the gym... It was pretty cool, even though we felt more at place with the college kids than the high school kids. Oh well. We'll be there next year.
