Holy crap.
I've spent pretty much the last year without internet.
I lost contact with a lot of people.
I'm sorry ;.;
I've missed you all!
Last time I had internet access I was working at Forever21. Quit there, started working at TGIFriday's and ended up with Wayne. Then I quit Friday's to work at Applebee's. I still work there, so everyone in town should come and visit. I'm there pretty much all of the time.
The computer crashed and died. Wayne and I moved back in with my mom. My cat had kittens. My car broke down. My uncle sent us a laptop. We still don't have internet in the house, but Panera has free Wi-Fi (along with plenty of other places I'm sure.) so I can pop over here occasionally until we get the house set up.
I downloaded AIM again. I'll be using my old name, SerenelyDream, so send me a message and let me know you're all still alive, too.
<3
I spent the past eight hours at work.
I was all jittery trying to keep myself energized, but at one point I did have to use my ten minute break to chill in a dark corner.
I'm still going :-D
It's a Squier Strat by Fender.
So somehow last night (I don't even remember what sparked it) I decided that my guitar's name is Lestrat.
Get it?
Haha.
Win.

The autographed one?
Well, it came a while back, and I discovered it wasn't autographed by Seth Green, but by some random person.
I don't care, though, because 12.50 is still the cheapest price I've seen Season 1 for. And it's in pristine condition (other than having been written on by some random dude.)
I just looked at my bank account and I was like "Hey, I didn't think I had that much money." so I looked at the recent activity and it turns out that I got refunded. The person never accepted the Paypal payment and sent the DVD anyways. So after a certain amount of time Paypal returned the unclaimed money.
Shweet.
I got Season 1 of Robot Chicken for free.

It was fine while I was working because I had something to do the whole time and there was VERY loud music playing.
But then when we were taking a break outside my manager said that she didn't have enough people to close for tonight, so of course I volunteered (I was way back on hours this week. It really sucks.) We talked about it later (Around 3am) and she told me I could come in "four, five, six, whenever you wake up." This is going to mess with my sleeping schedule... and I had just gotten it back to semi-normal!
I got home around 4:30, but then I got distracted by the internet. I'm still kind of energetic from work, too.
I discovered this today:
☮
I appologize in advance if I overuse it.
It makes me almost as happy as <3.
That means they rearrange EVERYTHING IN THE ENTIRE STORE, change the elements of the sections, and rename them. (This time they're candy names :-D)
They're in the process of it. They started last night and continue until they finish, which will probably be Saturday at like eight in the morning. (Our store is flippin huge)
I went in to pick up a shirt I saw yesterday and I couldn't find it.
So I looked on the floor set element sheet and map to see if they had already moved it.
We now have a section called Juicy Fruit. The element description of it is "Burnout hippie-inspired tees."
WOOT. :-D
Eventually I did find it and get it. It makes me think of Andy Warhol, and that makes me happy.
XD
My wardrobe has become inundated with peace signs. ^.^
Where else can I see a competition between a super-group of B-Boys, the rival of the Jabbawockeez, a Philipino traditional dance-mixes-with hip hop and random things, and the 80s style group.
All of them are fucking sick.
This is the group that didn't get through:
(The dancing starts at 45 seconds)
That's cool with me, they weren't my favorite. In fact, I really liked the other three and then just thought they were okay.
The other crews: (B-Boy super-group) ....Super CR3W. (Jabbawockeez rivals) Supreme Soul (80's style) Fanny Pack. Yeah. Fanny Pack. The other groups were wicked, but Fanny Pack basically took stupid 80s dancing and transformed it into awesomeness. And that was only the West coast. (I missed the rest of the show) Look the rest of them up on Youtube if you're interested or bored.
And already it bugs the shit out of me when I'm stuck.
Last night we agreed that my brother would take my mom to work in the morning, and I would go pick her up at around 4:30 and then go to work myself.
Before I got her I was going to go to West, get my transcript, take it to Forsyth Tech, get my check, and cash it.
However, apparently this morning she came into my room and told me that she was going to take my car.
I didn't really remember what she said. Or why she was going to take it. Just that she had it. I assumed my brother couldn't get her to work when she needed to be there or something.
She got off at 3, so I was expecting her at 3:30, still enough time to swing by West, ask them to mail my transcript to Fo'Tech (since I probably wouldn't be able to get there before their offices closed for the weekend anyways) go get my check, go to the bank and cash it, and then go back to work.
It's 4:40 and she's still not home.
She just called and when I asked her where the hell she was she told me "I told you I had to go pay the electric bill."
"Well, I'm going to be without money for the rest of the weekend now."
"Oh, shit, why didn't you tell me about that when I woke you up this morning?"
... Uh maybe because she woke me up and I don't even remember the conversation enough to know that she wasn't going to be home until late? Or because she knows we get paid on the same day. Or because I was pretty sure I had told her what I wanted to do today the night before.
The situation is solved, she's going to cash her check and let me borrow some money until we can cash mine, but still, damn. That's a really annoying situation. She needs to get a car that doesn't try to kill her.
But damn.
It's hot.
